CNC Machine
Cut Glass
Whether you want a shaped glass unit, a specialist edge effect or require cutouts in the glass, London Architectural Glass employs the latest innovations in CNC machine cutting techniques to provide accurate shaped and cut glass panels.
Our capabilities include a water jet cutter and a state-of-the-art laser cutter to recreate accurate glass shapes, holes and designs in large glass panels up to 100mm thick.
Bespoke Glass Cutting Service
The bespoke glass cutting service at London Architectural Glass allows us to:
- Drill holes into glass panels of any size required for handles, metalwork or locks.
- Cut out central elements of glass, useful for sink cutouts for kitchen worktops or socket holes for splash backs.
- Polish and shape edges to glass panels to a decorative or safer exposed glass edge.
- Etch and engrave patterns or writing into the face of the glass units for a decorative finish. These engravings can be polished or scalloped if required.
By using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine, accurate designs can be read from CAD or vector files to create or copy the exact design, pattern or shape needed from the glass units.
