Safety
Glass
Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments that increase its strength compared with normal glass.
Toughened glass improves overall structural durability, increasing heat and shock resistance. When broken, toughened glass will shatter into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as standard annealed glass does.
Whilst toughened laminated glass and SentryGlas are both superior types of safety glass, due to its diverse range of applications, toughened glass is one of the most used architectural glass products used throughout the world.
